Forget Me Not

In the rather apt default greeting of the today.com template: Hello World!  

I hope, dear world, that you and I shall get on well as in this blog I endeavour to educate you and myself on the ghosts of dates past.  That’s dates as in historical ones, the other type are thankfully not in the public domain.

 In this my blog I intend to investigate everyday what occurred on the current date in years previous.  I hope this should prove both humorous for both you and I, dear world and educational as I reflect on the mistakes of the past and endeavour to never to repeat them.  Enjoy.
